Liverpool High School

Liverpool High School Annex

Counseling Center

The Mission of the LHS Counseling Department is to promote the academic, social/emotional, and career development of all students in the school community. We want to work with you to help our students reach their full potentials. Our hope is that each student will leave LHS with a deeper understanding of not only their community, but also the world in which they live.

Counseling services in the main building are provided by eight school counselors. Students are assigned to school counselors by the first letters of the student's last name. The counselor/student ratio is about 1:240. Specialized services are also provided by the school social workers and school psychologists. In the 9th Grade Annex, two counselors provide services.

New York State requires 22 high school credits to graduate.  Click here to view the most current New York State graduation requirements.
